Successful Mompreneur Businesses
Discover some of our favorite Mompreneur businesses and what we were able to create through powerful collaboration and creativity.
Client #1: Time to Thrive Nutrition
- Who she is: Holly Lockhoff, MS, RD, CSSD, LDN, is a highly credentialed registered dietitian and performance nutrition expert. As the founder of Time to Thrive Nutrition, she brings deep clinical expertise. Driven by a passion for demystifying nutrition, Holly specializes in simplifying complex nutrition concepts and facilitating sustainable lifestyle changes. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, coupled with a deep understanding of the unique needs of her clients.
- What she was trying to solve with Brand Therapy: Before working with Fix & Form, Holly’s brand existed, but it was not hitting the mark. Her previous website lacked clarity and impact, failing to attract the clients she most wanted to work with, and her brand didn’t reflect the full scope of her story, skills, or potential. She needed a brand that could evolve with her and hold space for future growth. That’s where Brand Therapy came in.
- Where is the brand now after Brand Therapy: Through Brand Therapy, we helped Holly reposition her entire mompreneur business. We guided her through a full rebrand, including renaming her practice from its original form to Time to Thrive Nutrition. From there, we created a new website, complete with fresh copy and design that reflects her expertise and speaks directly to her ideal clients. Her new brand now tells a much more comprehensive and compelling story. The result? Holly’s business has grown from a solo practice to a team-based model. Her brand is now targeted, strategic, and expansive, making room not only for her current services but for long-term growth and success. Simply put: she’s thriving. Go Holly!
Client #2: Colorado Dance Arts
- Who she is: Colorado Dance Arts (formerly Lakewood Dance Academy) is a dance studio with a deep commitment to movement, purpose, and the transformative power of dance. Founded and led by Julie Anderson, a friend and trusted community member, the studio has served local families for years and recently entered a new chapter of growth and expansion.
- What she was trying to solve with Brand Therapy: Julie came to Fix & Form during a major transitional moment. She was moving the studio to a new space, reimagining the range of classes offered, and hoping to connect with a broader and more intentional audience. But with all that change came uncertainty: How should the studio be renamed? How could the story evolve beyond being seen as “just a kids dance studio”? How could the brand better express the science and soul behind movement? Through Brand Therapy, we worked closely with Julie to realign her brand from the inside out.
- Where is the brand now after Brand Therapy: Lakewood Dance Academy became Colorado Dance Arts, a name that speaks to the studio’s expanded vision and more inclusive, sophisticated approach to movement. We delivered a complete brand refresh. The new brand communicates the depth and intentionality behind their programs, resonating with both returning families and new dancers. We’re also supporting Colorado Dance Arts through social media marketing, helping to build visibility and community as they prepare for their studio move, soft launch, and grand opening. With a strong brand foundation now in place Julie, the strong mompreneur, and her team are well-positioned to grow!
Client #3: Libby Live Auctions
- Who she is: When Libby speaks, magic happens. Simply put, Libby Pollock is a seasoned auctioneer, emcee, and fundraising strategist with over a decade of experience helping nonprofit organizations bring energy, clarity, and record-breaking results to their live events. She states, “With integrity, creativity, and professionalism at the core of everything I do, fundraising events turn into unforgettable experiences.”
- What she was trying to solve with Brand Therapy: While Libby had a well-established reputation in the Denver fundraising scene, her brand wasn’t keeping pace with the competitive shifts in the market. Her existing website struggled to express the depth of value she brought to each event. She felt like she was “shooting in the dark,” not really reaching the right audience or showing up in a way that communicated her true differentiator. She needed to reposition her brand with clarity and confidence, not just as an auctioneer, but as a dynamic experience designer, emcee, and fundraising partner.
- Where is the brand now after Brand Therapy: Libby is still out on her own, a true mompreneur, and she’s still offering her magic and her vibe, highlighted throughout the website. Through Brand Therapy, we clarified her competitive edge, not just in what she does, but in how she does it. From pre-event consulting to night-of performance and post-event support, her offerings were shaped into a compelling and strategic personal brand meets business brand. Her website now showcases her as an experienced consultant and charismatic host who drives results and elevates the entire experience of a fundraising event. We kept the name Libby Live Auctions but elevated everything else—copy, positioning, tone, visuals. Additionally, we’ve supported her brand rollout with a custom email marketing program designed to reach segmented contact lists with strategic, well-crafted messaging.
Client #4: The PurplePaw Clan
- Who she is: Amethyst “Ami” Herrick, PhD, is a thought leader, writer, speaker, and advocate in the LGBTQ+ and gender identity space. AMI brings deep insight, humanity, and humor to conversations around identity, transformation, and inclusion. As she shares on her website: What began as a series of books I read with my son—called Warrior Cats—would unknowingly inspire the name of my business. In these stories, a cat in a forest clan is given a name that progresses as they grow up. From being given a name ending in “paw” when they are first accepted into the clan, a cat may grow into a leader, earning a name ending in “star.”
- What she was trying to solve with Brand Therapy: Ami was on the verge of launching something powerful, but it didn’t yet exist in a cohesive way. She had essays, podcasts, and ideas scattered across various platforms, and she knew it was time to unify it all into something intentional and monetizable. What she needed was not a brand refresh, but a full brand creation: a name, identity, story, and digital presence that could capture the depth of who she was and where she was going. This wasn’t a typical business model with a narrow target market. Ami’s message is for everyone and she needed a brand that could carry that.
- Where is the brand now after Brand Therapy: Together, we crafted her brand identity, voice, positioning, and the story that now lives on her website. The result is a platform that houses home that feels as layered and meaningful as the work she does. Her brand is now not just visible, but alive—ready to grow alongside her evolving mission and connect with audiences in a deeply personal, purposeful way.
